About Passion Savon

Passion Savon is a relatively new company in France, but Nia, the founder of Passion Savon – with her creative ability and aromatherapy skills has been making soap and toiletries for over 25 years. It all started in Wales, while pregnant with her second child (Dafydd) and “bored” Nia decided to take an aromatherapy course and study the art of understanding and blending essential oils and instantly had a natural aptitude for this wonderful therapy. Nia started experimenting with natural ingredients to create unique and special recipes and replaced the chemicals normally used in most personal care products with effective, natural materials.
In a few years, after Tirion was born (fourth child), Nia opened her first shop in Aberystwyth called “Naturania” selling her small range of products that she produced at home in the kitchen. She employed two part-time girls to help in the shop, but after two years decided that it was too much work with four children to look after (Trystan, the first son and Gruff, the third son) and also teaching piano in the evenings and at weekends singing opera semi-professionally! Reluctantly the shop was sold, Nia went on to continue to study and attended another course for a year to gain her diploma in aromatherapy.
