A fantastic soap with any extra creamy, silky moisturising lather. We add Ghassoul mud to this bar – a natural clay that is very rich in trace minerals. Sourced from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, its name is derived from the Arabic “ghassala” which means “to wash”. It makes an ideal cleansing and shaving bar and is also mild enough to use as stimulating shower soap. The unique mineral composition of Ghassoul, rich in silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium gives it the ability to cleanse the skin by absorbing excess oils and toxins and rejuvenates by stimulating blood circulation. Clinical studies have shown that this clay can improve skin clarity, elasticity and firmness, which is why it is used as face and body masques. We have also found a glorious Peppermint essential oil that has the most fabulous aroma of fresh, uplifting menthol that is cleansing, de-toxifying – a real “pick-me-up”. Suitable for all skin types, except ultra sensitive. Makes a great shaving bar for men and women and many of our customers use this soap as a natural toothpaste.
